I did the same with the Scar Light.


I remember randomly clicking on a room (CF was my first REAL game) and the game turned up. I was in this really dark map and I was sorta invisible and only had a knife. A soon figured out how to quit and i did. I then joined a Train map and this became my fave map (no longer is)

OT: I remember
-getting called a cheater in the first pub ive ever played
-this cheating guy with a silenced m4 before it came out and i was like oh my god i want this gun.
-how europeans and north americans played together and ping didnt really matter that much until the esl tournament uhm i think area 51 did win.
-first official CF tournament where throne cheated to win
- getting rolled by LL area51 radium axiom and throne lol
- some good euro teams like eXilium, Serenity's eu team and friction or w.e they were called.
-LND being rank 1

I remember:

Hack wars (Clan wars were both team hacked).
Hack pubs (Everyone had weapon and speed hack).


But the best thing I remember is this guy using a VIP hack and he shot using a Barrett which wasn't even out, he killed the whole team with it. That day I fell in love with that weapon.;)

Gameguard sucked. Most of the community knew English and had under 150 ping. You still got called a hack, but at least if you explained, they understood. Unlike today -.-

Community we had back then + Xtrap = Awesome
