THP Tournament announcement

THP Gaming is hosting a tournament for members of the scrim/xfire group. The process is simple. Register here at

http://www.xfire.com/communities/cfscrimming/

Once you are done there head on over to

http://www.thpgaming.com

and click on the THP tournament tab.

This tournament will be a total of 16 teams with random seeding and random rounds all for the bragging rights of your team. Growler will be required by every member participating in this tournament. Growler is free and the PC requirements using it are not huge. So check it out and lets get this going. We will start as soon as we have 16 eligible teams.

Anyone can join, clans or as a group of friends from multiple clans. Just keep in mind that you can only be in ONE teams roster for the tourney.

For this first tournament only the first 16 teams to sign up will get a spot.

For now it is just going to be bragging rights. We hope to continue these tournaments in the future and maybe add some cash prize incentives!

All the details are on the website. Check out the "Tourney" section. We liked allot of the of VSGL rules (very well thought out) and we'll be keeping a good chunk of them.

The registration process takes like all of 30 seconds as well not hard. Even if you are just an individual looking to compete feel free to put your name out there to see if you get picked up in a roster.

Well, this should be interesting I can only hope THP manages to conduct themselves in a more resonable manner then they have in the past namely in M.I.A's wall of "fame" or "shame". I honestly have no clue why clans started to post their "wins" considering by the 3rd thread that got flamed you think people would have learned that if you post "wins" you just get bashed by any clan that is half decent then rolled later if you don't dodge.

While I hold little hope for this tournament namely due to its management, the use of growler does sound quite fun so who knows. Maybe this will be one of the few CF tournament's that manages to be complete without the needless drama and QQing.

edit: Just a thought but why now? Isn't there an AVA tournament going on soonish or something like that? And KOS is coming out with the real patch soonish too I though.

edit 2: For disputes please PLEASE do not use the whole "Oh, you guys won it really doesn't matter excuse" honestly if anything ruined VSGL that was one of the many things.

We realllly hate cheaters; so if we see cheating, they're gone...whether they won or lost the match. If they lost and cheated we all get to make fun of them.

Eligible Roster Restrictions:

Your eligible roster is 10 members, however we will allow up to 25 members to be listed on your roster. All members of your roster that will be competing in the tournament must be listed 24 hours prior to the date you are to play.

At this time all team editing will have to be done on a forum based trial as we work on a system that will allow team leaders to manage their own rosters we are sorry for this small inconvenience. We will make sure to get all your members in their appropriate slots in time for you.

Please make sure you add your members names exactly as they appear IN GAME.
