  • On the topic of Christianity. A christian, someone who is "christ like" should never view it as a "religion". And it should never of been made out to be as such. It's about the belief that Jesus is the son of god, he died and rose again to wash away our sins and we should share this good news with the world. It's as simple as that.

Never should someone try to convince others to be a christian through wisdom or intelligently explaining things, and how they are true, or try to prove god's existence. The faith is shared and the rest is left up to the holy spirit to move in someones life.

No one has presented proof for the event of the crucifixion because there is no need. Believing it happened now is just the same as believing it then, the proof is in the life transforming, uplifting change in someones heart.

To answer the original post, I agree with miss wolf. In any situation thinking about what "could" of happened will get us no where. And if you don't know/believe what happened, making up scenarios in your own mind will accomplish nothing either.
  • I just read this and wasted god knows how many minutes of my life.

There are a lot of evidence of religion.

Both in the bible and Koran.

The thing about the bible is there is no original copy as for the Koran there is several copies even the ones that were only written on leaves.

The Koran states that the world was not flat and how many oceans there are even before the people sailed out to figure that out.

It even tells of how a baby is formed WAY before any one figured this out.

    Same goes for the bible.

Idk how someone would know this stuff and write it down.

I'm pretty sure that a lucky hunch or guess is not the case.

So I believe in religion I just don't believe in extremism as for both religions have.
  • Christianity, in my opinion with all religion, has postive and negative effects.

    The people make it negative.

The ideas, however, teach morals and teaches many other things.
  • I am Christian. I believe in God.

If we were following the "We can't prove that it existed" thought, then we can afirm that discoveries never happened. But they in fact existed, so did Jesus Christ. It's all documented, we can't pretend that it's not on the paper.

What if, the PERSON, Jesus Christ, never got crucified?

That's something you might think about.

    Great debate.
how do you know he didn't get crucified?
if the bible states that jesus existed, would there be a chance that he actually get crucified? since he really did exist =/

Say all you want about how absurd you "think" it is. But think on the evolutionist theory. (which in most cases people who don't believe in god believe this.) It has the same likely hood of being true as you throwing all the parts necessary parts for a watch into a single container berrying it. And in ten billion years you can dig it up and it will be a ticking working device.

That's how possible the whole, we were just formed out of chance and grew from monkeys theory is.

To deny that we were created by an omnipotent being is the more absurd viewpoint in my opinion. It just doesn't make sense to think things just "happen" to come together.
