I have a question. Do infractions play a big part in the choosing of a mod? The main reasoning is my brother got me most of my infractions and warnings :P. Also, don't they look at recent posts and recent activity and contribution to the forum when looking for mods? Just a bit of insight that present data is much better than past data.

Depends on how serious the infraction is, some mods have expired infractions for spam post.

I've only got like, 2 infractions, one of which was a warning for spam post, the other was for 'insulting a forumer';

When the world shows that winning is usually a popularity contest, its hard for many to think outside that box. Public School, Highschool and so on, all give incentive to being on top, or not at all in terms of recognition.
