Yeah fraps is for the high end computer I would say. So if you get around 60-100 fps per game in like a 6 v 6+ use fraps. If not then just try growler guncam. Both of these programs are free, but they might come with a trial period not sure.

Sony vegas is a great editing software. A lot of people use it and people like neoxpt are getting good at it.

growler is pretty much no fps lag. I use it on my computer, which is pretty bad, and I cant really tell the difference

Fraps is best for everything,except Home Screen,Just use a camera :P

I like xfire video, I don't really lag with it.

yes, it's free, yes theres no time limit and you can record audio, but lately, instead of a 10 seconds video, I had a 300 MB .avi file, which wasn't even working. A few days ago, I gave it another try...3 GB for 25 min video

I'm using Unregistred Hypercam now, I prefer having a working, normal size video with a water mark than having a maybe-not-working and 2 GB big file...
