Game not launching

Hello,

I am experiencing an issue with launching CrossFire and would appreciate your assistance.

When I open patcher_cf and click the "PLAY" button, I receive the following error messages:
- Patcher Error
- "Failed to execute game client"

I have already attempted the following troubleshooting steps without success:
- Running the patcher as Administrator
- Restarting and fully shutting down my PC
- Completely uninstalling and reinstalling the game
- Disabling my antivirus software
- Adding the game as an exception in my firewall
- Making changes in version.ini file (file is as it should be)

None of the above resolved the issue. Could you please advise on any further steps I can take to fix this problem?

    Same problem here, the only answer i got from the z8 support was change the version.ini file but it still won't work..

    Failed to execute game client -> first tip should be a fresh game install using latest files from game website
    If still have problems then most like something else happen outside the game , as on windows side ( or sometime onther program running in background ) .
    Since it seems you try all of those already -> last ones will be a windows side scan and fix:

     open command promt as admin and type  sfc /scannow 

    If the store is corrupt and SFC fails. Run this in Command Prompt (Admin) and use command :

    dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

    * Require a good connection and a good amount of data traffick available IF you are using limited data connection.

    ELSE a fresh windows install should fix-it.
