After I clicked PLAY, it continued to the login page; it did not download any patches. So, I entered my userid password and then kept getting "This is not the latest version of CrossFire" and does NOT continue on to the game but can only exit out.

After clicking PLAY, it did not download any patches and continued to the login screen; after I entered userid password, I keep getting "This is not the latest version of CrossFire" and will not continue on to the game but can only exit from there. What's up with this?

No need to post same thing on different forum sections, the problem mainly is caused from something on ISP ( as the ISP is delivering old version.ini cached alond the internet connection route instead of latest version.ini located on game server side ).

First you can try a router restart, if you keep have same problem then see this topic :
