Patcher Crash Issue - FIX!

Attention Mercenaries,

If you are experiencing issues with your patcher crashing after the latest update, please complete the following steps:

- Rename your patcher_cf.exe file to patcher_cf2.exe
- Run the patcher again

i can pass through the installations and the getttin it on my lap its fine there but when i run the patcher or the applications it wont let me open the applications its says that the short cut application has been moved or its not able to use ths hort cut properly no more then it just cuts me off there thanks i need help tho i already send a ticket on the way to u guys tech support

it is asking the bottom for three days I can't start the game, I just uninstalled it and downloaded it again and - Rename your patcher_cf.exe file to patcher_cf2.exe
- Run the patcher again
and it continues to show -this is not latest version of crossfire, and seystem is 64-bit

solution 2:
open cmd prompt

type the following:

ipconfig /flushdns
ipconifg /release
ipconfig /renew

this manually resets ur network adapters it might not work but should prompt patcher to download the update without restarting your pc

1. first try a router restart ( in case your ISP deliver old version.ini , this usually solve-it )

2. reset LAN connection like this -> open command prompt as administrator and type next commands, enter after each one:
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconifg /release
ipconfig /renew
and restart PC after you finish all.

3. If still have same error then manual edit version.ini with correct numbers, save, then restrict windows to be able to write inside, check this topic: https://forum.z8games.com/discussion/6911339/definitive-version-ini-workaround
* this solution work ONLY if all other files are corectly updated/patched.
4. LAST if nothing work -> please send a support ticket.
