How to play coin mode?

So there are achievements for this and it's supposed to be an even FFA mode. But how to start it? It seems there's no coin mode in this game. Is it discontinued? If yes, why? All other event modes are still in the game.

It was in NA for a limited time period but hasn't returned ever since. It's pretty much a more plain version of Sheep Mode.
