Side stepping in the game makes the crosshair weave up and down?

I have just rejoined the game after leaving for a while but now when I move sideways by pressing A or D the crosshair keeps weaving up and down and I dont remember the game doing that and neither do i see that in youtube videos. Is there a secret setting somewhere to be able to disable that? I have looked multiple times in the settings and found nothing.
