New Trojan.. Really false??? Starting to think not....

Hey everyone. I have played CF for awhile now and dont really want to stop but i have had so much problems with this new patch its unreal... I redownload and reinstalled 4 or 5 times yesterday to finally get it all to work. I even just shut off my av completely to play. This worked out fine and i was happy untill... I woke up the next morning to write an eMail. I load up the computer,start writing my eMail and sure enough your trojan file activates... I'm not in cf,not loading cf,not even trying to play. WRITING AN EMAIL and your trojan file kicks on and starts sending off my info.... I doubt i will play much CF due to this. Personally i am doubting that this is a false positive. Z8 YOU NEED TO FIX THIS

    It was on. I left it off completely for install and anytime i used CF and thats it. I'll let it go if it just processes for crossfire itself but there's no reason that file should have activated. All i did was start my computer and load up yahoo mail. My av kicked on and it was the crossfire trojan file... Shouldnt have done that if its really just part of the anti-hak. Note that trojans do many things other than ruin pcs or act like viruses..

    whats funny is nobody else has had this issue, I think you been to some site you shouldnt have and crossfire happened ot get infected.

    Never the less

    I leave my antivirus on all the time while installing and running crossfire, never had a issue, never made me lag. and Eset's NOD32 NEVER detected Crossfire as a Virus and NOD32 is one of the best AVs you can buy on the market.

    I use Kaspersky Anty-Virus. He find keyloger when I play CrossFire. When i shut off game all it's ok. Before this patch my anty-virus show this same:) I don't think soo that this is virus :) Now Kaspersky show "unnamed" - keyloger, but before "crossfire.exe" - keyloger ^^. I play almost 1year and I never god hacked/scamed, never lose any money from my credit cards etc:> For me all it's ok with this game.

    There are no viruses embedded in the game. If your system is infected then it's from something else.

    i have the same problem! i did something then there was a window of avira AV and it told me that cs.dll a blackdoor program is!

    Same as austria, Avira detected Cs.Shell.dll as a virus :S ?

    I trust Z8 Games so i clicked IGNORE any idea bout this ?

    i have had similar problems but they went out after awhile....

    NOD 32 does detect a virus, but it detects it as a key logger. HOWEVER - the file that is detected is actually a piece of software used to prevent a 'cracking' of programs.
