Will I get in trouble for this?

Hello, sorry if this is the wrong place to post this.

I am making a few CrossFire frag movies, and I would like to make some cinematics outside of the game using game assets. (for example use models and/or textures from the game in external programs like blender or SourceFilmMaker)

I won't modify anything in the game files, and the gameplay will stay exactly the same as it would work on a fresh crossfire install.

I merely want to copy some of the files and use it in cinematics for a CF fan movie.

This movie will not be monetized and I will make no personal gain from it. The game will be mentioned in the video, description and title.

Will I get in trouble for this? The TOS is not very clear about this kind of thing.

    Well back in the day there was no problem with this but I do think going through the .rez files is not a good thing to do.

    But I guess if you are not doing anything to the core game but just ripping out textures and models then you shouldn't get into trouble for it since your game is going to be the same as it should be.

    Actually I recall someone who released a pack of 3D Models and Weapons from Crossfire and it wasn't any problem. I bet you could do the same so you shouldn't worry.

    i have seen said things in CrossFire Film Awards entries, and there were no actions taken, so i think you're good, aslong as you dont change anything
