CrossFire "North America"

Why is this server even called CF North America? The GMs even said that all foreigners are welcome, there's more foreigners then there are people from North America...

Are the GMs even aware of that? Have they ever tried advertising this game? The only times they "advertised" this game was when they sponsored videos on YouTube, and they seem to not know anything about CF whatsoever.

How about they make real advertisements play before videos, or just make regular ads on YouTube. JUST DO SOMETHING.

I shouldn't have to be happy when I see a room with pings under 100

Please make this server have a reason to be called CF North America

  • The only way to see room full of pings under 100 is to make a room with pw and play with friends lmao.
  • I believe thats a normal phenomenon that can be seen in real life.
Also, I think i've seen some ads on foreign site before.
  • the biggest problem with the NA and UK target audiences is that there is MUCH stronger competition here I believe in terms of other games being more readily available. Many of which are newer or just have better standards. So advertising will almost fall flat. If they want to really have a chance to draw in people that'll stick around after coming in from an advertisement they'll need to clean up a lot of issues to make it more appealing to the NA and UK audience. It's completely possible. But Don't foresee it happening. Their best bet is to fix a few things and make changes enough to bring back older NA/UK players and then do competition to have them bring their friends for new blood.

Might not be a bad idea though either really...find a way to count Referrals to the game and have an event where the player base brings in new players and gets rewarded. Of course biggest obstacles there would be people creating alts and also if those new players are to stick around. Maybe something more a long the lines of 'sponsor a Newb' where Existing Player bring in a new player which gets verified as not being an alt of any existing player (if that's even possible to verify) once verified the Sponsor can buy special packages for their Sponsored player in GP and ZP which will help that player to 'grow' if you will...then the contest would be Sponsored new players with K/d, ranks, and play time. The event could take place over the course of few months or so as to not rush things and to make sure the players stick around (would probably also help to cut down on people using Alts to participate as who has the time for that?) Of course they probably wouldn't limit this contest to NA/UK players and it'd be open to everyone....so it'd be up to the NA/UK player base to do more of it than the other territory's player bases that play here.

But yea...it would be nice to see more rooms filled with people who have under 100 ping again.
  • Funny how these 3rd world countries are welcomed into this game with free weapons and what not, have 200+ ping and DC every 5 mins but meanwhile the netherlands and germany are blocked while we get like 15 ping.

EVERY room should be filled with people that speak English and have under 100 ping.

    That's my point...

    This, true story.
  • Without the foreigners, this game wouldn't be online...

Idk the game stays online by continuing to make money through ZP purchases. It is evident that there are a lot more foreigners compared to people actually from North America, but when I look at a lot of the Egy's I rarely see one who has purchased any ZP. Most will have gotten some free item that Z8 hands out to them like hotcakes. The BR population has dwindled since CFAL opened, but they are still prevalent and they do seem to purchase ZP. That being said i'd guess that most of the revenue that CFNA gets is still from the US/Canada/and those who make up the UK server that haven't gone to CFEU.
  • You should care about your ping only.

    Did you read the thread?

    yes.

You cry because most players have bad ping....
  • There should be a way to limit the ping allowed in the room like they have in diff versions. Just my 2cents

Lol they actually have this in differend versions? cmon z8 why are you always behind!
  • Cant link you to it but it has something to do with a host being super wink wink

    I can, message me.
  • Other versions:

    Ping

    9
    25
    4
    48
    67
    33
    23
    10
    58
    36
    ...

    CFNA:

    280
    450
    169
    290
    20
    190
    300
    14690
    6038
    283
    3624
    and so on.

    It's just sad.

If they brought profit to the game, that would be different, now what they do is kick legit low ping people, which obviously, makes them quit the game. I seriously wonder what is the game tutorial to them. It's probably just a "Kick voting" button. They kill the game and the GMs say they're welcomed.

Okay, you are talking about egy's, but see my case, I'm from Portugal, and have a friend with 21 VIP's, most of Portuguese people accounts aren't full with ZP guns and VIP's, but they have a lot of money invested...

    Make crossfire great again!
  • We can cry all we want, but GM's don't seem to care or at least they don't show it.. LMAO, they rarely reply to most of our threads, unless it's regarding something about GM's event or reminding us about respecting the 'Forum Policy'.

True though, we need proper advertising. I think they should release the VIP Shovel and w/e Share they get from SG they should invest in advertising across Google websites otherwise forever struggle as we are now..

Sorry I counted Portuguese people with the BR's. I do realize that you all spend ZP on the game as well, but overall i'd still say most of the money is coming from the US, Canada and UK.

Technically you shouldn't be "welcomed" either, I don't mean not being able to create a new account. You shouldn't be allowed to play period lol.

    What? No...
Without the foreigners, this game wouldn't be online...

You realise you're a foreigner too? I know what you're trying to do, but you realise that you put yourself in the same category as Egyptians right?

Lmao your friend is pretty dumb. What's all this invested money bullcrap, investing in something would suggest you own something.... Hate to break it to you but you don't even own your own account. lol.

I can tell you, there's not a lot of UK people still in game or even spending money compared to somewhere like Egypt to keep the game alive. Don't know about the US or Canada, but I know that Egypt has a lot of high spenders as well.

You don't have access to that kind of information, so you probably shouldn't make a guess at that.

That being said, this 'us vs them' stuff has to stop. Every room should have people that only speak English because its Crossfire North America? Look up what countries are politically considered North American. The class will wait here while you do. I get it. I know the feel of trying to play against someone with a ping immensely higher than yours. In the office here, we have a ping of roughly 2. Believe me, I know. The fact remains, however, that unless legal licenses get in our way otherwise, we have not, do not, and WILL NOT exclude a group of people for who they are or where they are from.

Good for you. Do you guys ever plan on making real good advertisements? and not some sponsored YouTube channel crap.
  • Raytheon wrote: »

Come on, you know I can't talk about plans that are or aren't happening. Mind you, if you DO have a specific idea about a good way to advertise, the suggestion sub-forum of the barracks is a good place for it. (Insider tip: We're keeping a closer eye on those lately.)
  • You don't have access to that kind of information, so you probably shouldn't make a guess at that.

Funny, the way you make it sound is as if there are people from the UK out spending the people from Egypt (currently). I'm not talking about from way back when there were more of us. No I don't have access to that information, but you know it's true lol

That point aside it's always been a situation of "us vs them", that's why the dumb thread was made in the first place... Most the people agreeing have something against the "high pingers" that go further than just this game. You can't just tell them "stop", that's just how they are in real life.

Please, i'm better than that. Is it cause i'm black tho?

But really let's not play the idiot, you're better than that. You know fully well there's a deep rooted issue with the community lol

Ye I know community is one of the worst I've ever seen in an online game.
This has nothing to do with your skin color. Just missunderstood your post, sry.
