Can someone tell me how do they work? And why do people with low FPS go faster than people with high FPS? Some people just fly up those ladders...
I heard that story aswell, I usually have ~200 fps and I'm having really hard time climbing ladders. Some say there's a spot you need to look at while climbing but it didn't help me much. However egy's seem to be climbing very easy.. -
This is most likely a problem with how the engine works. And it's probably so deep embedded that trying to fix it would break a lot of other things, that's the only reason I could see why this isn't fixed after all those years.
Generally, someone with 30-60 FPS is going to shoot up the ladder like a rocket while someone with 200 FPS will just climb them in a snails pace. -
Has anyone with "high FPS" tried the tutorial ladder? I think thats the best ladder in the whole game,no matter where I climb on it I have no problems at all..(usually climbing on the edges while looking straight ahead or down = you climb faster,I have to do this for example on Rooftops and my fps there is 80)

Uhhhhh, no. It has to do with the FPS, cuz I was recording and I went up the ladders like a rocket with 60 FPS.
I was playing today from my brothers pc with 250 fps and i couldn't climb fast. When i play from my laptop i have 55 fps and i go super fast all the time. -

Yup. Like I said, I have 200+ FPS and it takes forever to climb, with 60 FPS I flew up those ladders xD -
Yeeep annoying AF
When i play rooftops it takes ages to climb up the ladder (200fps), while midos with 5 fps climb it like superman and insta-mutate you
This has been around for many years and i doubt it will ever be fixed
Ofc they climb up like superman... I mean internet cafes dont have any good computers
