"Failed to connect to server"
Running Crossfire on Windows XP SP3 it worked fine until today.
I type my login details, press enter and it just says "Failed to connect to server"
No other programmes open, no internet/ISP issues, running through cable also not a driver issue.
Oh and for the past few days I've been getting massive lag spikes, it's definitely not my internet.
TIA

1. Windows XP is no longer supported by Microsoft (since 01 April 2015) = no more updade for Win XP (also a lots of other new programs are begin to stop WinXP compatibility)
2. Back there was a XTrap bug (or not?) and a lots of WinXP users where auto banned by Xtrap - and only first time banned players was restored ... therefore:
3. ALL GM WARN : Any other problems generated by using WinXP will be ignored - since WinXP is outdated and old S.O. an even Microsoft no longer offer support for XP....
My Advice -> go use Win 7 is most stable and CF run great !
But also you can use multiple S.O. (made a multi boot option..see google) on same PC if you still wanna use XP .... but not for play CF anymore...
Okays. I only use it for crossfire, I think I will just install win 7
Thanks anyways
