game loading problems

Did you installed any Applications, that could interfere with Crossfire/gameguard? Are your Windows Updates up to date? If you already deleted your Gameguard folder, i'd try to reinstall it from a Different Mirror like the Alternative Download Mirrors or these Mirrors:

Ensure, that Crossfire.exe, gameguard.des and gameguard.mon files got full access through your firewall and turn your Antivirus program off for the Installation. (If this Issue still appears, add a Exception into your Antivirus program, that the above named files wont get blocked in any way by your Antivirus program)
