game loading problems

so i been playing crossfire with no problems for ever. i play almost everynight. yesterday it took almost 20min to get from the gamegaurd loading screen to the crossfire loading page(and it was still only like 10% on that screen) and now today i cannot get the game to load at all....
i open crossfire click start, get the game gaurd, and then nothing. no black screeen or anything.

i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, i've deleted the game gaurd folder and redownloaded it. i've checked my internet security, and crossfire is allowed. plz help.....(ps. i have windows xp)

Did you installed any Applications, that could interfere with Crossfire/gameguard? Are your Windows Updates up to date? If you already deleted your Gameguard folder, i'd try to reinstall it from a Different Mirror like the Alternative Download Mirrors or these Mirrors:

Ensure, that Crossfire.exe, gameguard.des and gameguard.mon files got full access through your firewall and turn your Antivirus program off for the Installation. (If this Issue still appears, add a Exception into your Antivirus program, that the above named files wont get blocked in any way by your Antivirus program)
