How to Alt+Tab on Win 8.1

Edit: Thanks to the new window mode update, that way isn't working to alt+tab.

Firstly, IDK if this problem is fixed or not, but for me it's not, so that's why I made this thread.

Till just yesterday me and my friends couldn't simply Alt+Tab on Win 8.1 while playing CF, but I found that solution by luck and hope it will be useful for you guys.

Normally, While you're not actually playing you can Alt+Tab ( Like in the SS)

But sadly, for Win 8.1 users you MAY find this problem which is: you can't Alt+Tab while playing.

The Solution:

When the game is loading and just about to start, you got to press Alt+Tab to choose any window and keep holding it with the LMB till the game starts (Like you see me holding the window of this thread in this SS)

After that press Alt+Tab again and choose CF to play. Now, Whenever you want to Alt+Tab you'll be able to do that with no problems.

Notes:

1- You need to do all of these steps again when you play in another Room.

2- IDK if you already know that solution or not and if there's anyone who made a similar thread to this, then I'm sorry to post that again.

You're free to do whatever you want as long as it's not about the the same topic as my thread if that's what you mean, cuz I'd ask MODs to close/delete it since I'm not going to waste my efforts and give it to someone else O.o

Well, I prefer Win 8.1 for gaming and I feel it's better.

Were we ever able to Alt + Tab on win 8/8.1? I started using it after you, so I never knew.

Windows 7 takes much less CPU and has few-to-no bugs when gaming.

What does LMB mean? is it the left mouse button?

Win 8.1 doesn't have any bugs with any games ( Unless you really want to play an old game like Claw lel) and for me it's giving a better FPS for my games (2011~2014 games)

This isn't very new

I've known that ever since we couldn't alt tab with windows 8 lol.
(also told a lot of my friends with win8/8.1)

or [and i pressed it wrongly while i was playing]
simply press CTRL+ESC
to me it make me go to desktop hope it is helpful
it only work on win 7 and i dont know if it work on win 8/8.1

Win 7 users don't have any problems with Alt+Tab, and Ctrl+Esc = Smart screen on win 8/8.1

for only your information i use win 7 and i cant ALT+tab

so i use Ctrl+Esc

does it helps in win 8 or win 8.1?

or add adittional keyboard layout (may be the same) ... and win+space (shortcut to switch between)

Nope, it doesn't work in win 8.1

It helps to figure out how many tabs it take to ur browser, and also having a part of the broswer being behind your client so you don't have to hold it with your mouse. I can make an easier tut to understand on my twitch.tv if u ever visit on my highlights.

It doesn't work now due to the stupid "window mode" update, which was made 2 weeks ago, I think. but tried to do it once and it worked, so, I'll check that out and if I find a way I'll update the thread, til then try that: go to settings make CF full screen, not windowed.
