Window mode menu bug

I always played the game with windowed start menu but now I can't cause if I do it my game will also be in window mode.
This started happening since the version/patch 1205, I couldn't lauch the game because of a bug so I had to change the "version" config file manualy from 1204 to 1205 and make it only readable. I've reverted that already cause the game needed to download the new patches but I still can't make it windowed.

Also, I have the windows border around the menu and I've never seen that before.

Help?

ahh it's the new update,

Change your in game resolution to match your screen resolution if it is lower CF will run in windows mode rather than full screen.

In my native resolution (1920x1080) I can still see the upper border of Windows7 window and I really dont like it.
So, this is actually working as intended? CF is getting worse as the days pass. I really don't se the point of doing this. They could've just add an option to play in window mode without messing with the "windowed menu mode".
CF team always at their best. GJ

Yup,you will keep seeing that title bar but not in full screen mode,i hope z8 asks the Dev's to do something about it...

One need only adjust the resolution of your monitor and go to Action.
