Xtrap Error 08-0400-00000000-550

So, as of 3 days ago my crossfire decided to randomly stop working and the moment I press "Play" to launch the client, I get an X-trap error shortly saying "Some functions of the operating system has been corrupted. Please, close any program which is affecting the game client and restart the system."

The issue is I have no programs running in the foreground or the background to alter the client. My only options seems to be formatting my CPU, but Im not willing to format my CPU for crossfire.

Try and just do a clean reinstall? maybe and make sure to run ccleaner and delete all files associated with crossfire and z8games? Heres a thread to follow, If that don't work, Have you installed and windows updates recently? that could cause xtrap errors, also make sure to close any programs just to be safe before launching

Can you post a screenshot from this Xtrap error message please with the tool name etc..
