We want the Barrett M82A1 BUFFED!
As the title says we want a buff for the Barrett, I recently tested all the Barrett's Regualr/RD/Imperial/Royal the ONLY Barrett that's worth playing with in MM/HM/HMX is the Royal but as we all know its a temp gun in this version. The Reg/RD/Imperial Barrett's all do LESS damage then a DE!!!!!!!!! A pistol doing more damage then a .50 cal Anti-Material sniper rifle, there is something SERIOUSLY WRONG here.
This has got to be the biggest BULLSHT since the release of the game!...
Any one that agrees with me reply here. We need something done, we have to DEMAND a buff from the GM's. We need to demand this as a group and if the GM's cant do it themselves they MUST readdress this to the DEV's and MAKE SURE its DONE! The message has to be DELIVERED and this has to be fixes. Why the hell are we always getting the short end of the stick!? This version of CF has been shat on for a long time, we have been ignored.
I know this kind of thread has been opened numerous times, but this time we need to make sure GM's get and ear full, so they DO SOMETHING about it.
We as players and ones that SUPPORT the game with our MONEY, should have an impact on the content. Why are we getting something that's "broken"? Why is it that CF CN and CF VN are good enough to get the PROPER content? Are we NOT GOOD ENOUGH? Why are they more important then us?

They should be buffed to the level of the current most powerful sniper in those modes. I agree that it did need nerfing in Wave and Mutation but not as bad as it is. If I remember correctly the AWM-VIP and Cheytac are the most powerful in Mutation and Wave and the Barretts should be buffed at least to that level in Mutation and Wave. In ZM they should be fully buffed to the original damage stats.

CheyTac is currently the most powerful sniper for MM/HM/HMX dealing over 1000 dmg to the head and about 700 to the body. (tested in the beginning of the round in a 1v1 room).
Its bullcrap that you cant kill 2 people that are lined up, if anything you should be able to kill 3+.
Its extremely heavy and not many people can use it, its also slow at reloading and cycling. Just because of that it should have its original stats.
Its absolutely not fair that some versions get the real thing while we get a M700 that looks like a Barrett.
If we get M700 that looks like a Barrett then every one should get it for FREE when there SMILEY at character creation, and not have to spend money in BM ZP crates.
If they were gonna pull this crap then i wish the Barrett was NEVER brought into this version AT ALL. -

If this happens then I should get sth for compensation since I've own the original barret since the night it was released. More than a year wasted?
There is already one thread about this, but I assume that you weren't here that time the thread was going on, or you just won a barret then felt disappointed after trying it in HMX.
Wait for the barret VIP, if this happens the only barret is gonna get buffed is that one, not these normal ones. Why? Since many people won the barret now they want it to be usable in both human and mutant mode, and not buffing it will make z8 lose a huge profit. -

Considering they said that the barrett was never coming to CF NA in the first place many years ago and now look where we're at, we have like 4 versions of it in our game.
Anyways I don't play zombie or HMX modes nore do I care if they buff it for these modes, just realize that changes can happen and that comparing versions is justifiable considering we get most of our content from these other versions. -
I agree with having all Barrett versions an upgrade in damage stats for Mutant Modes. It will not hurt anybody since its not related to KD stats and it will be more fun to use in Mutant modes. I have to say that I went for the Original Barrett for its power...

Most people like me got the Barrett for high dmg in hmx. What I got was a bigger and slower m700 reskin. The regular Barrett is not even worth to spin for. A big buff is not necessary for me but if it hit 500-700 max in hmx with boost that would be enough for me. Chances are, I will not pre order the Barrett VIP unless they state that it deals High dmg.

I definitely agree with the statement that it should get a buff in those modes. I mean just look at the Barrett Royal dragon the only unnerfed barrett for those modes. It's not the unstoppable beast they might have feared it would be. Yes it's powerfull but you still need to know what you are doing in order to use it to any effectiveness at all.
I can closely compare the barrett to the gatling gun in the mutation modes atleast. Unnerfed barrett is awesome but has it's fair share of drawbacks compareble to the Gatling gun. It's Heavy, it has a slow cycling bolt and works best if used with a group that can defend you or from a high vantage point. On your own it can only do so much as you can't take on several mutants at once. If they swarm you, you are screwed as it's completely useless on the run.
I did get the regular barrett within the first week it was released but I had the feeling that it would be nerfed here aswell because I already had it in Cf eu and it's nerfed there. Completly unrelated but yeah.
One of the things I think z8 should have done is to state that it's nerfed in those modes before releasing it because well that's why there was such a high demand for this gun to be released here. People had seen videos of what this beast of a gun could do in other versions of cf and when it came here they expected it to be the same. I can totally understand why z8 didn't say anything about this nerf as it would basically make alot of people not wanting to get this gun anymore, meaning less money for them. A smart move on their part, but not exactly "morally fair" to the players that for the most part got the barrett to use in those modes. But business is business and tricks like these aren't illegal or uncommon.
But I definitely give two big thumbs up to the barrett getting a buff for those modes. -

As much as I hate to say it, all Barretts, besides the Obsidian Beast, will be nerfed. There are 2 main reasons why it's not buffed in NA..
1. The Barrett M8A21 was never meant to even be brought over NA.
2. You guys already QQ about M4A1-VIPs, Scar Lights, M12s, Cheytacs, buffing the Barrett would probably make ya'll QQ more. -

I know the Barrett was not meant to be brought into this CF version, but if there is no Barrett in CF NA they wont make money of Barrett VIP.
And if they bring the Barrett VIP, why not bring in the regular Barrett's?
And there are people QQing about all sorts of stuff and always will be. Its just not fair that we get garbage and other versions get good things.
And I have not seen any one QQ about the CheyTac, I own it and use it more then any other sniper. -

The point of this thread was not to "cry" about the gun.
In Mutant modes is it right for a Barrett to hit like 400 damage, while a Deagle, M4A1 hits 500 - 600....??
The FR F2 - Rusty hit over 1000 Damage headshot in Mutant modes.
The point is not to make it "easier" or to buff it in general..
JUST in Mutant mode it is not right for a .50 calibur gun to hit less than a pistol and like a 1/4th of what the FR-F2 hits.
But everyone seems to go completely off topic and think it's just a crying post.
READ what it is about before you just assume and rage like little kids together?
