When he has fire beams shooting out of both hands you can slide under them, jump into the edge of the map and bounce off the wall, or slide into one of the slides that shoots you across the map. With that attack the beam will move from your left to your right when you're facing him. When he does the single beam attack you can't slide under the beam, only jumping off the walls on the edge of the map or riding one of the slides will protect you, and this is the same when he does the bomb drop attack. The single beam attack moves from your right to your left when you're facing him.

The crossbow does tremendous damage to him, so if you get it wait until someone uses one of the freeze special weapons on him or he goes into the center of the map to do an attack so you have the best chance of landing every shot on him.

The wall jump will push you quite far away from the wall normally, but if you face the wall and jump against it while holding either W+A or W+D you won't move very far away from the wall and you'll have much more time to get back to the wall and do another jump.
