Cannot change in-game resolution(new)

Second attempt to get ahold of z8 for the problem: I've been reading up quite a bit and released everyone is having the same issue, It set it to 800x600 and when i change it to a bigger resolution nothing happens I would like to play fullscreen but seeing as its stuck into 800x600 I have two big black bars on the sides of my screen. How would you fix this???
