What AV are you using?

I have the same problem, using Norton Anti-Virus. I've also checked over everything, games "Trusted" but for some reason I keep getting the same annoying message. What's really annoying is the lack of support, how is one supposed to play the game with so many issues occurring on a daily basis? this is the second day now I've had to deal with this issue and I cannot play the game.

I've had to explicitly "allow" crossfire.exe to be trusted with Norton's AV after they had a virus definitions update. It worked fine ever since.

i just instaled the CCleaner and then i open the game and its work fine ^ ^

Also note that CCleaner should not replace any anti-virus program. It's just a cleaning tool.
*In terms of thinking CCleaner can "protect" you from virus's, malware etc.
Just a friendly thought.
