Ghost Mode sound?

Ok so i mostly play EU,but sometimes i come to play NA and whenever i play GM i have no ghost sounds. I can hear them runing towards me,even if they are half the map away from me. I tried it with a friend,he was runing towards me and then stoped at me. I didnt hear any breathing sound,and when he stoped at me 2 seconds later he started breathing. And he doesnt have any breath/step down.

Im just curious,is this the way NA ghost sounds are like,or is it somekind of a bug? And no,there is no problem with my headset,if i go play EU i can pinpoint like if i had wh,but here i look like a ahmed who just started playing GM...
