How much? I would say you need 8GB old ram, or 4GB new Ram (R3+) at least now.

On my laptop if i try record with FRAPS i get this message, and when i checked task manager, had no available memory. Because it had only 4GB RAM.

It's 100% to do with RAM/Virtual Memory lol.

ALT Tabbing uses RAM - because constantly has to reload everything, therefore = RAM crash

RAM can be inefficient with bad hardware. You can have 1000GB Ram, if ur processor does not process that RAM good enough, you will get this message >:D

The message itself is actually common though, i've had it in other games.
