"hack tool detected"

I got this message recently for the first time under suspicious circumstances. I was running chrome and VLC (for mp3) in the background at the time. Needless to say I have no such cheats.

I called to a vote to kick a player that was moving as if he was lagging, very hard to hit. The second the kick was approved this dialogue popped up saying 'hack tool detected'. Is this a known vulnerability that can be triggered remotely by some hack?

It was probably caused by VLC, sort of like the time where "Bandicam" was blocked by it.

Just kicked for "Hack Tool Detected" ??

I was searching through channels to find new game and it said I was disconnected from server. I connected again and then it said "Hack Tool Detected" and shut down, now it says I have to wait 3 minutes to log back on. I haven't changed any programs or anything. I am 40 years old and am on a few weeks unemployment until my next job starts (pipeline). I wouldn't even consider cheating. What the hell is going on? That really ****es me off.

It just kicked me again for hack tools...HELP

Nothing has changed on my computer at all. I have no idea what to do. I've been playing for weeks and using this computer, nothing else. I haven't changed or downloaded any programs. What could be going on? I have Norton for Antivirus protection so I don't think it could be that. Why would it think I had a hack tool? I don't understand. Any suggestions? I want to play!!!
