Please I get no connection to the game, Can't even re-install crossfire. When I click run it freezes at step 3.

okay, so far it seems the issue is that
A) You're getting a copy from Atomic gamer and not from Z8games

You're having issues with connecting with the CF Portal: crossfire.z8games.com

Oh and and concerning the OP, we realized he could clean up his cache, browsing history. And also he have had some questionable extensions in chrome. Prob wants to clean up with malwarebytes and/or CCleaner.
He also needed to update the browser itself.
