I followed every tip I could find regarding xtrap errors. Ended every process that isn't needed for system stability (actually the pc crashed once so this was one process too much). Deactivated antivirus (Avast) completely, scanned the PC, deactivated the firewall, Logitech driver etc. etc.

Running Win 7 64bit as admin - UAC is inactive. The file mentioned in the error report is "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\dfscacm.dll" which is exactly 7500B (normal size).

I didn't play for a year. Wanted to give it a try so I won't try fancy solutions like reformatting or similar.

System:

i7-4930k @4.2Ghz
GTX670
GA-X79-UD3
Vertex 2 128GB
16GB ram @1600Mhz (standard)

what is dfscacm.dll related to?
I'd say go to \Windows\SysWOW64\ and delete it if you're not using it anywhere.

Seems like there is no other choice. I found out that it is part of Debugmode's frameserver which I needed to reconfigurate anyway.

Xtrap is such a pain in the arse. It doesn't allow me run ***ory, Autohotkey, now the frameserver.

You should reinstall the game and install it with your antivirus disabled.

No, the game is detecting something running that it doesnt like.

I assume you disabled that .dll?

I needed to completely unistall the Debugmode frameserver and just tried to run Crossfire - works now

Edit: You could add the Debugmode frameserver with the code to your list, Giggle. It is 08-0400-00000000-523
