Knifing In Sniper Match
There has been the odd time when the game has been switched to sniper mode and I haven't noticed until the game starts playing. So my options would be to use my M700 which I am totally useless at (sniping in general that is). Leave the game and incur a penalty, or have a bit of fun running about the map knifing snipers. Being a run n' gun type and just hate snipers anyway, the choice is obvious. I don't go into sniper maps on purpose so the odd time I get caught out I generally stay and fight it out with the knife. -

i bet 60% of you guys do really hate people knifing you in sniper matchs you just dont wanna look stupid saying u hate it coz most of these guys dont really care about people knifing them in the back. ?
And simply enough, GM's will never, ever remove knives from sniping matches. Ever.

and if you hate knifers and your ping is low enough, invest in a PSG-RD, it's an AWESOME no scope rifle, especially if you do a little hopping around to avoid your opponent, even shooting it while still in the air :P
I think the developers realized you'd get allot of knifes coming at you with that rifle... I know almost everyone tries to knife me when I enter a match with it XD
... I've raked in the kills with it in some matches where I've never scoped even once with it... just wait till you see the persons name and shoot if there within 10 feet of you, and you get about a 75% chance of hitting them (out to 10 feet, after that it drops to about 25% and then a lowly 5% after 20 feet...
unlike the awm, the awm feels like it's got a 25% chance closer than 10 feet and 75% between 10 and 20, before dropping off to 20% after that length, don't know why it works that way, but it at least appears to In my experience. -
Always bring your knife to a gun fight.
The Knife has always bin part of the soldiers basic issue gear. Most Fps (first person shooters) come stock with knife.
Going to war without a knife would be like a h00ker going without condoms, not a good idea.
Think about it, makes sense. As for you snipers who suck that bad, you cant kill a nutball with a knife, I have one thing for you, GG get some Aim. -

97% of u guys dont even run out of ammo
so stop telling bullcrap
atleast 97% of you guys waste atleast 7bullets or maybe 8 and u die then u have another set of bullets full pack..
that 3% is the pro section they prob run out of bullets alot of the times.
and guess what they do after?
when someone else dies they pick it up and keep killing again
why u guying coping the same guy that said what u gonna do when u run out of bullets..

i dont see why u guys telling me i am a noob or i cant snipe or quick scope
try facing lets say BlindRob now (he wont really knife u in a snipermatches unless u dont knife him.) right he is using a shovel. your standing there sniping he comes behind u and kills u now he is running around like a pro with a girl costume protending to be a girl jumping around and he keeps killing u and u cant kill him back i bet 90% of you guys here wont sniper him back coz he will be jumping killing u and it will never stop

i knife in sniper matches simply because i cant compete with all the people with awm's. its amazing how these people with awms know exactly where you are and when the split second time to shoot is.. with a knife you can run faster and actually get some points, instead of getting murdered

It both bothers me and doesn't bother me.
I don't see the point in joining a Sniper Only match if you just plan on knifing everybody. If you wanna knife, then to a knife only room. Is it really THAT hard?
Bothers me even more when they say that they do it because they suck at sniping. Well then PRACTICE IT! It should be easy to practice in a Sniper Only room because there's nobody running around shooting 30 bullets at you to mess you up.
While the knifing bothers me, being able to use the knife does not. I mean really, would you rather have your knife out while you're running, or run extremely slow while you carry a sniper? -
I knife in sniper match because i don't have AWM, so i have to kill someone to pick up one
people with knife running around is easy to kill with awm when they come near you,
Knifing in Sniper Match is realy fun, i shoot out of 5 bullets, i sneak, kill 1 and pick up his gun, don't waste so much time to reload and die with 1 bullet =] -
For some strange reason... I feel that people just don't know how to snipe in the community... People think they can snipe because they play sniper only matches with people that also don't know how to snipe/move around. The average pub player camp snipes, and rarely moves from his given position before the shot and after the shot, thereby becomming a standing target for the other average pub players. When said community encounters a moving/jumping target with a knife, they are unable to predict said players movements and get furstrated, because they are trying to snipe it like they'd snipe a moving target (for example, not leading the target, and firing when the target reaches their sights and not them trying to fix their sights on the knifer.
When facing such a difficult target without a gun, unless your 100% confident in your quick scoping ability, your better off aiming slightly to the side of where the target is going, than firingat the moment said target crosses your reticules (its also recomend you move around a bit while aiming, and once your ready to fire stop moving (or what I do, is take my left hand competly off the keyboard) than fire your shot). Remember, when your not moving, you'll gain 100% accuracy within less then a split second, but as long as your moving, your accuracy will diminish greatly. If you miss the shot, and the enemy is too close to fire another shot, back off... press q... and knife back (unless your confident in your noscopping/quick shot ability).
If all else fails, learn to use a m700. It's a great gun when it comes to snipers only because it weighs less than the awm by a significant amount, so you can usually dodge average pub awm fire with ease, while still being a long range threat (the pros knife).

i am a good sniper i just dont like how people knife u for GP's and sometimes when your in a bad mood and your doing well and the same noob keeps knifing u it does get anooying. and ruins your KDR. -

just to let u know if u have a gun and they have a knife so u should kill them and by u saying us"pros" evidently ur not pro if u have a gun and u cant kill a knifer u have the more advantage so dont go on forums QQ'ing about knifers in sniper only cause if u say ur pro then u it should be easy to kill a sniper ..... who agrees? -
