Honorable Soldier Ribbon
So I've been a bit bothered about how many lie about how they lost their HS ribbon. I hacked on my old account two years ago, and resulted in losing my $600 account permanently, and losing the HS ribbon. I used to tell everyone that I went through a ZP dispute, but honesty, I've had many friends throughout my years that lost their ribbon due to ZP disputes, but every one of them received their ribbon back once they fixed the situation.
Here's the deal; you get banned when you have a ZP dispute, and you get your account back when you pay it back, along with your ribbon upon contacting support.
Moral of this thread, stop lying, we all make mistakes, the majority of us have tried hacking. I for one haven't hacked for two years, and have realized how greatly it affects the CF community when you hack. It's difficult to be apart of the community, but also be a hacker because you end up regretting it later.
But yeah, stop lying, it's not a big deal as long as you don't hack anymore.

My situation isnt a lie though...
My little brother got ahold of my account information, which i have wrote down with all of my accounts for various games/Site.
He decided to play on my account one night while i was at work a year ago and tried getting me free zp.
The scammer took the account and hacked, got banned and i lost my ribbon.
But im ok as long as i got my account back thanks to the help of the Z8 Support!

I have to admit I hacked too back in the day when you had walk through walls and stuff. I've been banned and all. But that was almost 2 years ago. I did this on smiley face accounts. I didn't start buying ZP and playing legit until after I RQ the game and came back earlier this year. -

I had a shared account I spent some money on. Technically it was mine. But when I quit CF I gave it to my friend and he tried selling it and got scammed. Bugged me for weeks about the email and security question. I just ignored him and haven't talked to him since. I didn't care about losing my account. I just wanted to teach him a lesson. This wasn't the first time he tried selling accounts. -

I used to share my information with friends on this account, one day this "friend" was cheating on the account when i was offline. He showed me the replay of my account 1 shotting in mutation mode. I knew I was going to lose all my hard work so I admit to cheating on this account in the last 3 weeks of its permanent ban (2011)

I admit to cheating on this account, ever since I lost my main "TastyRhymes?" I had rage building up in me, so I took it out on the game, after getting a very high KDR i decided to stop using cheats on there and use it as a cow (or something like that)

Even though my brother quit playing CrossFire at that time, I ADMIT to cheating on his account but it was for farming reasons, i wanted to speed up the games so yes.. I shot the cows through walls and used a no reload but only in private games. Although the ban reason was for harassment to a mod which was unfair, the ban of the account was legitimate, even though I do not recall cheating on it in public.
They did a good job wiping out my every last account with the IP bans that were issued, and just to let you know they DO ban cheaters and always have. I became legit in 2012 and have never touched a cheat since I also convinced many of my cheater friends to do the same, however i occasionally browse cheating websites to see what they are up too. I know you probably don't hear this everyday but I truly am sorry for cheating back in 2011.
Everything I knew at the time were used to get the cheats, exploits patched, and that's when I became legit.

After playing this game for about a week or so, I tried a zp hack. I know, they dont exist, it had only been about a week since i played though so I didn't know shiet. It was this website that told me to enter my email, login id, and password, and I was like oooh if they ask for this info they're probably gonna deposit zp on my account it definitely seems legit. So I did it, and the next day I logged on I was in some random clan called cow team but thankfully none of my info had been changed LOL but yeah I've done some bannable stuff like taking my anger out on egys but it was nothing as serious as hacking

I've seen so many people lie about that stuff.
I had a member in the clan I'm in who kept saying that he got banned for chargeback, when he hacked. And he kept trying to justify that until he got caught hacking. I really don't understand why people need to lie in this game, when eventually the truth WILL come out. Either you get banned or someone catches you hacking, which is what happened in this person's case.
Personally, I've never hacked before. I was tempted to like a year and a half ago but never did it. -

This is an online game. Everyone lies about everything. Save yourself some trouble and don't think about it. -

3. Everyone needs to stop using the honorable soldier ribbon as a medium for trust and reputability.
It's not a replacement for the ban list. It has no bearing on someone as a player if they have the ribbon or not. They *may* have lost it for a certain inexcusable reason, but it's impossible to know.
It's used as bait for social exile in the game. I'm sure that wasn't intentional, but it's nothing more than that.
TL;DR: Quit giving a damn about the honorable soldier ribbon. It means nothing. -

Tried to Cheat a couple of years back, didn't come very far, seeing how i got Auto Banned by Xtrap right as i pressed Enter.
But man, i was so mad back then because of it.
Nowadays i laugh about my stupidity. -
Now Im thinking, how many legit people have been quitted because of u, regretting hackers. And i remember how all of u have been insulting turks and egys because of hakking. Its good that you confessed and not hacking anymore. But still, it isnt right, especially when u guys raging about hackers. U did bad and u should feel bad.

I lose my HSR because of: " Malicious Software" that is what Z8Games said to me.
I never use hacker program in CF .. Ever
Not all Lie.. Not all lose just because of Charge Back or Using hake.
There are too many other reasons include;For example Trolling/Trashing in the forum , or as my case.

Since we're on the topic of admitting things here, in 5th grade some kid gave me those like poppy firework things where when you throw it on the ground, it makes a noise. And while we were about to take a state testing, I was trying to get an eraser from my desk, I accidentally knocked it down and there was this giant popping noise and the teacher was standing practically next to me. She was halfway turning her head to look me straight in the eye where I put my foot over where it was, and asked what it was. In reply I said "I don't know", I should be kicked out of school and be living on the streets for lying to a teacher.

Not all players have gotten their ribbon back after charge-backs.
I had to deal with the mess back in 2011 when Gambit Surveys initiated a wave of charge-backs (see here), and once I paid back the amount in prepaid cards and the temporary suspension was lifted I did not get the ribbon back. There are a good number of other older players that I know who lost their ribbon permanently from that mess back then as well.
Don't be so quick to call out players over the ribbon. It's not that big of a deal, but it really sucks to assume we lost it because of hacking if we never have.
