No point in switching X-trap and solutions~~

I honestly don't see how switching x-trap would improve the hacking situation. The game is opened to way to much countries. A lot of coders are coding hacks for this game from MANY DIFFERENT COUNTRIES. Even if you switch x-trap with another anti-cheat, it won't really matter because its just not possible to keep up with the amount of coders making hacks for this game. Egypt for example probably has more than 5 groups of different people coding hacks for this game. Now imagine the amount of countries this game is open to....

As far as i can see, there's only two possible solutions that would reduce the amount of hacks.

1)Implement a anti-cheat similar to crossfireCN. Crossfire CN has probably the largest base of players, and their anti cheat was designed for the large base of players. They know that having a anti-cheat that just patches hack won't work because of the amount of coders in that country.

2)z8 dedicating specific servers to specific country. Most of the servers are dead, might as well make use of them. Have alpha as a GLOBAL server. Bravo as "external country" server that is only accessible by players not originating from North America. And make Charlie into a server only accessible by North American residents/players.

  • I like the idea of limiting players who have over 120 ping to servers such as Charlie, Bravo, Delta, or Foxtrot.

Indeed as it doesn't cut out people from the na/uk division .... unless your net sucks :P
  • I want players with only -50 Ping in uk servers....

I had horrible internet and I got ~60 ping in alpha. I'd hate to not be able to play in Alpha IF this was a rule, I don't mind 250 pings due to them being free kills. Unless they hack :D
  • 1) CFCN's publisher is also a powerhouse in comparison to G4Box. They have more $, more resources, more manpower etc. ; also China has a number of laws in regards to the virtual world such as the Internet, gaming and so on. There is literally legal prosecution if you break one of those "Internet gaming" laws.

    2) that decision resides solely with Smilegate as developers. It's way over G4Box's head. Again, G4Box ONLY has the license to set up and maintain servers, for this version, within the NA and UK. SG can always modify such mandate, but as I stated earlier, the decision is not within the authority of this publisher, G4Box.

Well Egypt has a very strong sense of nationalism and they have to keep their countrymen at the top of their game in being pro.

    :D

Congratulations for having an IQ higher than any staff member that works for G4Box.

  • I thought they had the power to direct which country can go into which server O_O. Its not as if they have to place the server into that specific country.
