First shoot i get I kill a guy, with my m4a1 silver..
''OMG NO M4a1 Silver'' - Ok I said.. whatever..
then i said - '' I will use ONLY my USP '' CAN I???'' and they said yes.
goes with USP only, kills one guy from 100 meters away.

Echo 8 has meta rules like WOGL/WCG rules.
Use the other channels to play with all weapons. -

And... I doubt that players will play in another chanel than 8 of Echo server.
This is just a dream. First 1-2 weeks maybe 10-15 players will play in Echo server and then... all things will be te same as before of this topic. -

Have to agree with a lot of the posts in here. A lot of my experiences with playing in E8 have ended with people QQing about me supposedly having armor or using certain weapons. For the most part, it hasn't been a fun experience. I'd prefer to play with my friends in Alpha with BRs than play with the tryhard QQers in E8. (Not saying everyone in there is that, just from my experiences).

That channel is filled with egotistical players, thinking that if they can't kill one person, then that person is either has armor, is lagging, or is hacking.Honestly, it was more fun playing cheaters. I just played a 8v8 pub in Echo 8. 12/16 players were viets with spop/m14/armor. Thanks. -

Like JP said, ignore the egos, there are barely any cheaters as of now. However, for the head armor, most people don't realize that shooting the mouth doesn't count as a headshot. So people will get a lot of 20's to 30's to the head (w/o armor). Then I found out that most people were bursting for the mouth via replays. But if they were to aim above the mouth it's more understandable, either way if you don't have armor and they accuse you just ignore. -

If youre not doing anything wrong(No armor, No ZP/OP weapon, not lagging) then keep up the good work because you might have some skill. Some team might see you and pick you up. -
If this becomes successful, it will become unsuccessful shortly. What I mean by that is, once many of the players from Alpha move over, the hackers will eventually too. It will ruin what is of E8 right now ( at least the pub rooms in E8).
^ True, I was like nice way to ask hac-kers to come over. The thing is alpha people will like to use their black market guns, e8 players will either QQ or trash abt those guns + spop + armor.
Its not gonna work out well unless e8 ppl act nice which is loool -
The cheating problem is partially due to CF's inability to fight against the hackers, but it's also due to the fact that CF has a toxic community, whether it is cheating, trashtalking, or whatever. Lets be honest, if CF had a good community/mentality, even if xtrap was awful, there would be no reason to cheat. Especially in alpha where pubs don't matter.

There are some really immature people on crossfire, and I'm not talking about the 10-14 yr olds. Even the older players are extremely immature. -

I would have expected the older teenagers/young adults to be a bit more mature or have a better mentality, or at least not this bad. I mean people get really defensive and ****ed on this game. At this point I agree with madanki. It is hard for us to compete in Echo with our 150 ping and NA players won't be pleased by seeing;) us lagging in these rooms. Besides, creating such a server in the UK Servers (5) , will be a tough mission.

First of all, I highly doubt that, because only 1% of the hackers are even reading the forums. Now let's say hackers invade Echo, we would have no problem in kicking them. Let's say we come to a point where Echo is just like Alpha, then we make passworded rooms with names.
Since only forumer will join these rooms, making a password shouldn't be too much of a challenge.
Only doubt this part. For most players, they choose the the server that have enough open rooms. That is why Alpha is so crowded. Hackers do the same way, they choose the server has many players. When echo become popular, they start to invade. And soon there would be more coming. I guess hackers are more social, they normally have friends play together, that explain why you will see the vote first jumps to 1:3 when you want to kick a hacker.
Anyway, if we do not have tool to prevent a certain player to enter a room, then we will always suffer hackers.
Also consider the bug that a kicked player can reenter a room after several matches.
But temporarily, it is a solution.
