I took a 1.5 year break, I've been back for about a month, and I just noticed I have a permanent AK-47 Knife and perm AWM-Camo, I dont remember even buying AK-47 knife crates, did those 2 weps used to be coupon exchanges?

yeah
ak knife was for 80 coupons and it was replaced by m4-s crystal
and awm camo was for 70 coupons and was replaced by m16

Yes both weapons used to be in coupon exchange.
You can confirm when they removed in patch note section of announcement.
I believe they removed Ak47 knife 1st and AWM 2nd.

Pretty much this besides the fact that the AK-knife was rlaced by the SL8.

no there were ak knife, m4 s crystal and de gold for 80 coupons and those were replaced by sl8 and m4 custom but the degold is still in the 80 slot
