Space bar question?!

Hello,

Every time I login into crossfire and join to a server the jump bind "space" is not known but then I set space by my own and it works but it unbind when I log off from the game. So I have to set the bind over and over when I want to play.

I would like to know if there is anything to avoid that and has a permanent bind set.
