Nevermind........................ The point is you're basing competitiveness on whether a map can be hopped on or not and I'm saying that's not the only factor that plays into BL. -
God damn, the finals were in tranquili god damn shietty map! Worst map ever! Who in the right mind created tranquility! Big damn let down to see the finals in such a terrible map! There's a god damn gigantic monkey bell in the middle of the map for god's sake, wtf!

Well, I don't think either teams were expecting that map, so it was a good way to see if they can play even in tranquility. :> -
Actually Tranquility is a pretty good map for competitive GM, if you prepare it well. Rooftops might be tricky to hop onto but there are many options on how to attack a site on both sides, and even snipers are useful in it. Yeah, i accept and understand that, Originally for the first few matches purv was streaming with me casting, but then he had to go, so i did both, and thats when this happened.
I did realize though, and try to follow the action, but when casting, it's best to sit looking at the overview so you can get a good idea of where everyone is//what the teams are playing strat wise, hence the reason we tried to have a separate person streaming than the person casting...
But i take all of it on board, it was my first solo competitive cast, and i will listen to everything said!!
Also, on a sourer note, i just wanna say i'm slightly disappointed with all the trash talking that has happened on this thread. Last night was really good and fun for many people. Mistakes were made, and decisions made to deal with it. It's in the past, crying on the forums will do nothing positive for you. Learn from it and make sure to not do it again.

Well, I missed out. Still on vacation, didnt watch the livestream but it looks like the tourny turned out well which is nice. Congrats to retiredGM, I honestly didnt see that coming.

Good game guys, I hope a new Ghost Mode tournament will come soon. While it was all good I have to admit there was a lot of problems that need to be addressed.

Yes, I love the bracket tournaments in crossfire for Ghost Mode to make that mode famous again.
What was your experience playing in the tournament (was it fun/bad/eh)?:
Disappointing in a way. The OCG anti-cheat made a lot of people in the tournament lag and our team did get a free ride to quarter-finals because our opponents did not come and did not have enough members to play with.
How did OCG do? Did we host a good tournament?:
You guys hosted a good tournament, but the commentators were very bias. They would actually say they would want one team to win and said many personal opinions. I think that needs to be improved. Also, please make sure you guys have clearer rules and an APPROVED WEAPONS list, not just a BANNED weapon list.

Needs better commentators, can't believe a cf mod said "dodge" in the finals of an OCG tournament.

They were nice, first place should get also get OCG point

Better rules, better livestreams (mature commentators) and more organized.
How was the Anticheat/ClientX was it lagging you the whole match, was it perfect?:
It didn't give me any problems, slight fps drop. But some people in my clan had ping problems and fps problems. I also know that many people in the game got problems with it too.
Over all it was a great tournament, hope another one comes soon. -

-It was a nice experience but our game vs etherion was akward,ping difference was big and I think next time you should aswell create a tournament for UK players.Cus there is even more GM players in uk servers.

Well I usually have low fps...20-40 and it was the same fps with AC,like I wasnt using it

Yes, it is a real shame that they had to come and argue about it. Even without the 1 round deduction Eth still would have lost. I understand that their angry because a certain someone went on to say they must be DQed which is so extreme in the finals. A round deduction was not what I wanted to do. I wanted to prevent people from just changing players the whole game in and out but never thought of the fact that someone might DC or have high ping. That rule will be updated for next time. This is also my first time hosting a tournament. I didn't know what to expect and in the beginning it is so changing to try to help / control 150-200 people and get them all started.
On the note of casting NattNatt did a really good job considering that he was asked on Sunday like 40 seconds before the match if he could come cast and he accepted. That is really nice of him to drop everything and come and cast.
I ask that you guys keep the flame wars to PMs / VMs / anywhere away from this thread.
