cant open up crossfire

Maybe your anti-virus-software blocked something while the patching process...
Common solution is:
- Uninstall the game completely
- Disable your antivirus' realtime protection
- Redownload the game
- Install the game
- Add the entire crossfire folder to your antivirus exceptions
- Re-enable realtime protection
Do you get any error message? - how far you can get through the starting process? -

...if its the same memory related problem wit the "MSVCR80.dll" like on my side - this could help.
