GM from my point of view.

I'm GM player only (since GM is almost the only mod I'm playing) and I do not feel that I'm egoist and self indulgent player :]

Well, it all depends where you like to play, I personally play with clan members and all we do is have fun.. Sure, there are lots of "gm" players that think of themselves highly, you just got to ignore them and prove em off with your score! I don't think I have a large ego considering my fun in gm consists of an m700 and an axe Just find some friends that you enjoy to play gm with and dont bother with others. Get enough friends in and you can kick any jerk that thinks they own the room :P

Having a "good" KDR doesnt make one a "good" GM player. Especially since there are so many beginners out there that we, people with more experience in this mode, could easily farm our KD up, even without sound sometimes, and you have to take in the fact that there are so many one-hit melees out there that people without hops could still easily camp/rush and get not-so good PPers.

I think a "good" GM player is one that consistently perform well in game against any kind of opponent and play styles, and even if they are not personally doing well, they can still help win the game.

Sometimes you get the odd one that didn't like how you headshot him or PP'ed him so easily and will get offended but on the whole I don't really have any regular problems with them.

I love the mode because of its uniqueness and how fun it is to play, but with all the things added to this game and the majority of people who play GM now, it's hard to support it and just have fun playing.

In the old days of GM, people didn't use shovels and people using them ruined GM since it is op with bd. L2P with a knife.
