Where in the hell does it say he will be building his own laptop Chris?

You could build a PC do the same price and more for your money. We also need to know what you want it for Crossfire or web browsing or battle field 3 or adult content or whatever to tell you if it's worth it. Also 75 percent of the time do you use your current computer at your house or somewhere else?
  • nVidia GeForce 610M 2GB - is a better dedicated video card
    around 675 $

I don't see how you think the 610M is better than the 645M, because it's not.
  • Thanks for the replies guys!

didnt want to tell a whole backstory but meh.
i'll mostly use it at/for school (IT course, mostly programming, 4-8 hours/day) and like 4-5 hours of cf a week.
    consider this configuration too:
    Asus K55VD-SX660D
    Intel® CoreTM i5-3230M 2.60GHz, Ivy Bridge,
    4GB RAM
    750GB HDD

Even u get 200-250 FPS u need a display that work on 120 Hz refresh to see 120 fps
Most of display work on 60-75 Hz means u have 60-75 refresh screen / second - u see only 60 to 75 frame even your video generate up to 200-250 :) .
Now those 120 hz display are know also as 3D display too .... i consider to buy one for myself too, i have 180-220 FPS in game but feel no difference as on earlier pc configuration that was generate 60-80 FPS because i use same old display 60 hz :D

    hmm, i see.
