Same here man! They say it will come here to Germany in the summer, but I'm really not too sure about it! My friend and me will go there on the first day it will come into the cinema, holy crap.

Watch it from the beginning and you will understand it. I have learned quite a lot of important things from it, it's not like those TV series today which are designed for kids, but don't teach a crap to them. Each character in Dragonball expresses one type of character and in while watching the episodes you get to know to the wisdom of those people and the negative/positive sides about those character traits.

Besides this, it is my motivation to go on with life, because there never has been anyone in Dragonball who gave up. They all have been going until the bitter end. This might seem a bit "oh gosh, it's just a manga", but it doesn't matter where you get your motivation from now, does it.

DB was my favorite! The laughter just kept coming. From pervert Roshi, to bipolar Launch. You cannot go wrong. I prefer db over dbz mainly because of the comedy. I like fighting as much as the next guy, but give me a reason to smile besides the fact that the bad guy was beaten.
I feel that db was a good mix between fighting and comedy.

The best episode of gt in my opinion is the last episode. I cried, for days.
My favorite character in the series was Launch.

I know right! I'm just starting to watch the whole DBZ episodes, I'm at 79 right now, it is really full of tension, it's unbelieveable. Didn't watch the normal Dragonball and I didn't watch DB GT, but I will after that.

Exactly man. I remember watching it with my uncle and trying to record it on that old player with the cassete, but we mostly failed to do so. xD I'm really thankful that he showed and watched this amazing anime with me.

My favourite character is Vegeta too. He is my motivation to go on with life, he never gave up and fought to the bitter end. Amazing.

DBGT was.... not-so-good.

Exactly, I've seen some DBGT scenes on YouTube, and I must say.. it's kinda weird. They made Vegeta even weaker, not to mention that he wasn't able to go SSJ2 by himself in DBZ, he needed help to go to SSJ4 in GT. Where is SSJ2 / SSJ3 in GT? Pretty disappointing.
