Balance Issues, ZP, and OMG YOU HACKER!
Dear z8games,
I have played crossfire for about 3 years, and I am very concerned about where crossfire is heading. My old account was hacked so I didn't play for a long time. Then I made this account to end my hiatus, and started playing again. The first thing I noticed was the AK-Fury and the AK-Beast they looked really cool, but then I saw the bonuses it gives and how it was far superior to any other AK. I thought to myself that no one would buy it for that much ZP and everyone has one. I brushed that off my shoulder until I got into a knife match, and everyone had a Kris which was new to me (I got used to combat axes and shovels which were fine for zp knives). My knife was no match to them, even though I am a pretty good at knifing and know the tricks of the trade. The thing is Z8 you are adding a lot of content to the game (which is great), but majority of it is stuff you will never touch unless you buy ZP. This gives the issue where if you don't buy ZP you will have a disadvantage in the game. This environment is toxic to new players and causes them to be discouraged at getting better at the game, because no matter how good they get they will always be at a disadvantage. I suggest giving a little free zp to players every time they reach a 24 hour playtime, to award players who play your game. You could also boost the ammount of gp you get per level, because saving up 800 gp everyday is disappointing. The last thing I want to address is the community itself. Most of the community is very easy to get frustrated. If I start doing good on S&D and kill a lot of people by headshots, then automatically they assume that I am a hacker and kick me. Z8 you need to create a better hack detection and update it to stop the oncoming hacking community. Follow every move they make, download there programs, and see how are they getting through hack shield pro. There is also a free way to solve this problem. Track people who get kicked a lot, then spectate them and see if they are hacking. I don't want to see people getting banned just by being kicked a plethora times either, because your community will cause many players to get banned. Z8games please don't run this game into the ground, if you want to earn as much money as TF2 you need to respect the community.

Basically Z8games is creating a toxic environment for newer players to join, by giving other players advantage because they spent money to get unbalanced weapons and bonuses for paying for the game. Also that the community is so worried about hackers that people who are skilled get punished by being kicked for no reason. In the paragraph I gave solutions to these problems.tl;dr
Couldnt you sum it up?
90% won't read walls of text like this -
TF2 has made more money going f2p than its first sale figures. Lets do the math, if you take 500,000 copies sold times $10.00 you get 5,000,000 dollars. TF2 has made more than that going f2p without selling any advantage that you can buy with real money.TheGhost345 wrote: »As much money as TF2?
Dude, this game made 3x the money they have 1 week after the VIP's were announced. A person called Vibration has 5 AK47 Fury's on 10 of his accounts

I understand your frustration. And yes, I read the entire text. (Honestly, it wasn't the size, it was structure of your post that caused difficulty).
Anyway, a while ago I had the same way of thinking toward CrossFire knife matches. The player with an axe or kris would most likely become ACE. I also whined in public chat and purchased Z8Points myself to equalize my victory chances with an opponent.
But like I said, that was a while ago.
I've adjusted to "special knife" usage, and I've also befriended a player that was great at using a knife. As time progressed, I remained calm, even if most of my deaths were from the "special knives". I've also gained experience in knifing and became one of the greatest "Knifers" in CrossFire, considering not many people still use a knife as their main close-combat weapon.
My in-game username is AutumnWood, which is an alternative of mine, perhaps switching over to my main account.
So, in summary, the weapons will be difficult to defeat in battle for ones who haven't adjusted. But if you can first partially adjust by accepting that players will most likely continue to use them, your anger will dwindle, and eventually transform into a desire to better your skills in whatever combat you are having trouble in (Sniping, knifing, etc.).
P.S., I major in knife matches over any other combat, so any adjusting techniques aside from knifing are up to you or another person's help.
P.P.S., I couldn't care less about being kicked from a match. If you're truly that great to head-shot multiple times in a row, joining a new match wouldn't be a problem, because you'd easily regain those head-shot amounts.
