Trying to hit 4 ghz

With a 2.66 ghz processor (Core 2 Duo E7300). In the past, I tested a lot of settings, like voltage, vtt, pll but nothing worked. The max OC I got was 3.8 ghz and it wasn't stable. My new approach is using a lower multiplier and a beefy FSB. The VID in the picture is a lie, the real one is 1.3625.
EDIT: I don't give a **** about temps. If I get 4ghz i'll downclock to 3.x with a more reasonable voltage.
Dammit, I can't set a super high FSB and my memory is just 800 mhz.

I ruined the stock thermal paste so I need to get more. Yeah, I play with vcore. PCIE frequency is set to 100 and the other stuff to auto.AwfulFallout wrote: »awesome processors (core duo and quad), i had a q9550 overclocked on stock voltage stable at 3.6ghz, thinking about buying another PC even though outdated, i still think it performs pretty well in today's applications
Yeah, they rule.
