Is 55 Hz and 85 Hz a big difference?
So turns out my old monitor that my sister is using that I gave to her after I got my laptop has 85hz on it. My default monitor on my laptop only has 55hz. Would there be any difference when gaming on the 85hz monitor in comparison to the 55hz monitor? Also the 85hz monitor is about double the size of my 55hz monitor.

Difference betwen 60Hz and 75Hz is easily noticeable. I'm pretty certain your game will be much smoother. -

indeed, gaming on 120hz is an absolutely amazing experience..the difference it makes is unbelievableI had been using 120ghz for like two years, and oh god....everytime I play on a 60ghz screen, doesn't matter how high the fps is, I can't frag -
absolute difference. 85 hz is by far much better and smoother and you will notice it. 1 problem, if the monitor is 2x bigger you will get lower fps, because your graphics have to handle much more pixels. i wouldnt take away something from my sister unless she gives me full permission without me pressuring her
