A Massive List of Suggestions by Hi
in Suggestions
Hey guys, it’s been a while since I placed a suggestion, I thought I’d do one today. I sat down with a couple friends and devised these suggestions. You don’t have to read it all if you don’t want to. Don’t complain about the wall of text. If you do read some of this, hopefully you find it helpful. I’ve categorized these suggestions for your ease of reading.
Hacker prevention / Suggestions which pertain to Third Party Programs
Implementing an auto-screenshot function; which would help give proof
First off, I want to iterate, these screenshots would not be checked on a daily basis by the support team, this is more of a system which would give the support team hard proof which would either prove that one was legit or cheating. Also, I’d like to say that it is kind of based off of the forumer, “Kirby’s” idea a little while back. The system basically is a second set of eyes for the support team, because nothing shows that you’re cheating more than a live image of what’s on your screen.
Basically, the system would take various random screenshots. These screenshots are sent directly to Z8Games, in which they would be placed into folders with the in game name of the player. If the support team would ever need these screenshots for recent proof, they would just search the name of the player being reported, and see if the screenshot showed cheats easily viewed by a screen shot [for example; chams or the cheat menu].
Why would this be helpful? Replays can sometimes look fishy. It’s like the jury system, if it’s not proven beyond a reasonable doubt, it’s not set in stone. These screenshots would help differentiate a “possible cheater” from a “cheater”.
Also note that screenshots that were over a couple months, or x amount of weeks old would be deleted to make up space. It’s not a fool-proof way to stop cheaters, but I’ll sure bet that it will help almost 9 out of 10 times. Cheaters generally use those cheats all of the time that they are playing.
Example of it [please note that THIS IS SIMULATED. I did not cheat to get the screenshot]:

In game reporting
This, has been suggested numerous times by numerous people, and I just want to show its importance. Basically, it would be as simple as the regular form is, including the following facts:
To limit this being abused, a player should only be allowed to send in one in game report [or x amount, depending on what Z8Games wants] per day, to prevent flooding. After the first, a message will pop up advising them to report on the Z8Games website if they wish to report more.
Also, one player could only be reported once per game, preventing flooding. If he is reported a second time, a message will pop saying something along the lines of, “Player has already been reported.”
What would this system help with? Simple, it gives much easier accessibility to the report system, and helps people who don’t know how to speak English and navigate themselves to the support ticket / reporting section. It also would help motivate people to report, and ultimately would help the community.

Coupon system suggestions
Prize Changes
It’s an obvious fact that the coupon system doesn’t necessarily need to give only 3 prizes per x amount of coupons, therefore I have devised a small list of what ‘could’ and what ‘should’ be on the coupons list:
5 Coupons
10 Coupons
25 Coupons
50 Coupons
60 Coupons
70 Coupons
80 Coupons
100 Coupons
The refund system
Evidently, humans make mistakes. This happens a lot when it pertains to the coupon exchange system. Adding a “Refund Coupon Item” eliminates the need for the support system to take on the tasks of manually reimbursing the coupons to the player. A button which says ‘Refund Coupon Item’ could be implemented, in which after 48 hours of exchanging, the system refuses to refund, and therefore eliminates the need for a support team to exchange the weapon for the coupon.
Additionally, another option is to make the refund full [for example, refunding the M4 Golden would give you 100 coupons], and then decreasing the amount of coupons refunded after a period of time [for example, after one week, you only get 80 coupons back].
Example of it [please note that THIS IS SIMULATED]:

Profile suggestions
Deleting all messages in the message system
Obviously, the system automatically deletes messages over a time, but if you’re continually getting spammed, while waiting for a message or friend request, you don’t want spammers getting into your way. A ‘delete all’ button would easily help one in such a scenario.
What it would do is delete all messages that you have.
Example of it [please note that THIS IS SIMULATED]:

That’s about all of the suggestions that I can think of at this moment, try to not troll this thread, as some of it is actually useful. Once again, I don’t expect all of this to happen, but it’s what I think would contribute to a more user friendly, and professional community and game level. Thanks for reading, feel free to discuss.

1. No.
This brings up legal issues with file transfers to the Z8 servers among other issues. It would illegal to add this feature without the legal rights to do so and have everyone agree to it. This would take up way to much resources and if it was somehow added, this means tens of thousands of screenshots sent to the z8 servers everyday, increasing the server traffic, lag spikes will occur with the file uploading to Z8 and workforce is not even capable with the current system. This would mean more staff than is reasonable and way out of the means of G4Box to be hired.
2. No. End of story.
3. This does not interest me. I believe Us3r suggested this sort of thing before. Cant remember what happened in the conversation.
4. There already is a refund system. This is unnecessary. This problem comes about alot less than people think. Its not an issue.
5. The most reasonable and simplest suggestion. Will probably happen eventually. -

who is that EvA-001? dude? I hear hes a beast -
On the contrary, his Coupons suggestion was amazing! Not hard to implement, would rise profits, and satisfy customers, I mean players.[MOD]Giggletron wrote: »1. No.

No? End of story to an in game report system with a limit? Tons of players don't speak English and likely can't figure out how to report via the current system. Really ineffective.
So why not?
Great suggestions dude nice post. -
RawrJafrikan wrote: »Probably not going to happen, but why not?
Then again, Giggle does raise some issues with those suggestions.
Yeah, I was raised the question of how much space 600000 x 2mb of space would take up while I made this thread, just wanted to give some ideas. I don't know why the second idea isn't good though, the largest .cfr file is around 10mb which were full out 40 minute games, and replays are sent in almost every day to Z8 via the support / report page. The third idea is just to make more profit. The fourth idea is to save time for the support team. Any time saved can be devoted to either helping out people or leisure time. The final idea is just an obvious suggestion, something that is needed.
Also, to Giggletron about the first suggestion. I know that it would take up a lot of space. I know it would be a pain to do, but all of the screenshots don't have to be looked at, as I clearly stated in the suggestions. They're just databased, just in case they need it during a hack report.
To Tastylimes, do you still think that I'm hunting for moderator? -
@Giggletron:
The first suggestion could be slightly modified to address the legal issues. Crossfire should simply TAKE a few screenshots during the game and include it in the replay file or create a folder with the screenshots for each replay (you know, like the folders with images for locally saved web pages). During the report submission, the screenshots could be transferred to Z8 together with the replay file.
The second suggestion is also excellent, I don't understand why you refuse to even tell the reasons for its refusal. I even think that the report limit should be like 3 or 5 reports a day. -

Use the search if you don't understand. The system would be easily abused and just harm the process of hackers getting banned.
The only this that makes it remotely feasible if the inclusion of the 1 report limit per day.
