The "FILE FORGED" Solution for after the patch tonight
OK guys and gals listen up if u got the "FILE FORGED" problem, here is the solution
*****WARNING******
This solution is so easy you may have slap yourself for not seeing it
OK, here u go in one easy step
1. Go do a "disk clean up" make sure to do all the temp internet pages
Thats it after clean up is done restart crossfire and u should see the newest bulletin
Dont ask me how it works i truly dont know but it is what i have to do after every patch, so enjoy and if u see anyone with the same problem pass it on to them

I did the same thing everybody else did which was disk cleanup. It didn't work even after 5 tries. Is there something extra to do? The stupid popup keeps coming saying that some file is forged. It's really starting to annoy me. And what's this about 2 weeks? Will the patch be automatically fixed in 2 weeks?

! After the patch on Tuesday night, I had it again, however i did this and it worked again ! You are such a genius LOL! -
well hi guys well sorry its not working for all, but same thing this afternoon i checked it and got the forged and then the free up disk place and went straight back on
well im glad it works for some and its sucks it dont work for all
sorry guys hummmmmmm let me fumble around the program some more maybe ill find another reason why the forged is doing it -
well if you got XP got to your control panel and look for your "disk clean up" and if you have Vista goto your control panel, then look for adminstators, the look for maintance, then look for free up disk spacewhit what programm because i dont have administrator on my pc -

LCM you take from your time to helping us you are amazing , but i dont see big effort from T.S. stuff , the game working eith me yestrday (without making any thing) for two hors and back to Forged file issue , that mean that the problem in the servers not in the computer and only one can fix this is the Z8Games stuff so i dont know wher they are?
now im going to play somthing else , i love cross fire too much and its hard to me to chang it to " war rock " but what can i do i spent most of my time in cross fire in the past and i fell so boring now waiting the solution of that stubid problem -
i thank you mogheer, but no thanks needed my solution was just a lucky guess which worked for me so i figured i pass it on, but yea even i can say how it fixes my forged problem i dont have a clue, but hey if we all pass along any stupid little information like this hey we fix it easy

well i will be dammmmed The Commander seen a simple solution and tryed it,
thanks man, i just updated after awhile and had same forged problem, and i seen u thread and tryed it thanks alot man now i dont have to just sit and wait till it fixes itself
i agree with a few other of the folks i sure do hope they give u something in return for all this work you r doing for them -

ok Guys and Gals here is a idea for the problem if just the "clean up" doesnt work for you i got a few ideas
1. ok try it like this run a spyware, and a virus scan, then do the clean up.
2. completly unistall the game and folders then run the "clean up" and then reDL the game
