For me, It was when I lost my dad. When I got the call that things had taken a turn for the worst I drove as fast as my car would go to the hospital, when I got there I pushed the nurses out the way and grabbed my dads hand, and maybe 10seconds after I grabbed his hand he flatlined. ~That is the worst feeling I've ever experienced.
I guess the next in line was when his nurse called me 3 days later to tell me that she believed with all her heart that the only reason he held on so long was because he didn't want to let go with me by his side- That has had me on a guilt trip for 5 years now..

not much of a sleep expert, but i'm fairly certain sleep paralysis doesn't happen right as you fall asleep. don't you have to be deeper in sleep?
Sleep paralysis/lucid dreaming can happen if you trick your mind into thinking you're asleep. You know that feeling you get when you lay down and have to move your leg/scratch it? That's your body's way to see if you're asleep and ready for REM aka the dreaming. I've been controlling my dreams for a while now, but sometimes I accidentally slip into sleep paralysis and yeah, that happens lol. -
That feeling when you do a line of poorly cut coke, then the effects start wearing off like 10 minutes after and you're scrambling like an angered paranoid insomniac to do another line and it's a repeating process until your nose feels like somebody stuck a serrated blade into it and you can't even get any sleep and your heart rate feels abnormally fast and you've lost your appetite for the next few days and feel depressed and don't feel like doing anything remotely productive at all.

Yeah I my first time trying to astral project, bam sleep paralysis. Demons and whatnot everywhere -

Lol it wasn't more of fear but not knowing of the unknown. Like your body starts legitimately vibrating and you just start freaking out because your body is unable to move, not even a pinky. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about though because of lucid dreaming. Astral projection is amazing, and I've done some stupid stuff in my lifetime. -
I'd say something that happened to a friend of mine:
Waking up and not being able to control any of your body parts. So you are basically laying still in your bed, unable to move, talk, scream. Unable to do anything at all except hoping that you will eventually be able to control your body again or if someone spots that you are awake and unable to do anything, then you will at least get some help. -

When i was 12, i kept having a special kind of migraine. My body temperature turned to 41 celcius grades while my whole head hurts including a strange deep pain in the eye. I was being delirious, i was talking irrationally. So yea thats pretty much the worst feeling. Nothing written in this thread compares to any disease of any sort.empathy, migraine and something else but i'm too tired to type it up.
theres a specific pain to migraine, so more detail in that word.
if you're being strangled by a stranger, the bad feeling is fear. "badmanstrangulation" is not a feeling. -
