didn`t even know that! I am sure that the temporal lobe of a four month old takes major damage when being exposed to such sound levels. cruel

Meh... not looking to buy but what is it by any chance :D

won't have time to do any of that once I'm in college. My free time will consist of going to the same Gym that Kobe goes to and going to the beach to meet people.

Mehhhh not a fan of the rifles that don't have long butts.

I do love the M14 though... that thing is amazing.

folding stock is collectors, i also have a regular stock with it that i use when i actually shoot it, that is too nice to even bring out, and yeah m14 is probably one of my favorite rifles, along with the m1a (newer version of it) they aren't cheap though, you can get a used one for around 900ish or chinese model, bought an m1a instead because it came with lifetime warranty

Chinese copies scare me... like really scare me.

And yeah, totally mesmerized by the M14. Thing is so damn accurate you could probably hip fire it. Don't have one myself but I met a guy who made it look like that... unfortunately I didn't get to touch it lol.

anyway, I won't be able to get it. Saving up for more college books and plane tickets... Parents want me to get a job... yeah...

yeah it is a beautiful rifle, it is the "do it all" type of gun. Out of the box i was hitting center mass at 500m without adjusting anything, it took me a while to save towards it but i don't plan on selling it, probably will give it to one of my kids one day, it is a good investment, they usually just go up as long as you take care of them. Especially is Barrack osama gets elected again...ammo is already rising.

As far as the chinese model, although i am really against chinese firearms, my friend owns a chinese version and it functions fine, same with their AK's but there are quality differences.

  • they need new gun laws but obama wont bring that law so close to elections and brining that law in wouldnt be in his favour as some people see it not as an offensive wepon but as a defensive last resort, look at norways massacare there happening all over the world and always have and always will nothing can change it except tougher gun laws.

gun laws won't change anything, it will only mean bad people will still get guns, crack is illegal yet people still get it right? buying a gun off the black market is just as easy...people act like 90% of the use of guns is directed towards crime, no usually it's just having a fun time sporting and not to mention the stories where people manage to defend themselves with guns you don't hear about because it just supports gun laws, liberal media doesn't like that.

OT alot of media sites and social site are banning the use of his name reported BBC news, i cant believe people are actually supporting what he did -_-
like his family is fair enough blood is thicker than water but people from other countries supporting him is sickening

well over here the media is UBER-Liberal and still everytime a person defends him/herself its all over the media. like this old fella who shot and wounded two thiefs recently. if I carried a legal gun around with me, as strange as this vision seems to me, I am not sure I d be able to shoot and end ones life. call me weak.

    so....why don`t people shoot back?

In a situation like this, would you be recognized as the true hero you are, or will all this chaos and confusion make you look like an accomplice?

In that cinema playing dead is the best option probably. well, if it`s some breivik nutcase, doubletapping every single one of them using semi-jacketed bullet it`s probably not your day.

I do get what you're saying, it is hard to throw yourself in that situation and expect to be 100% calm etc, but honestly if innocent people were dying in front of you i would not even think twice to defend them if i could. Taking another person's life is a hard thing to swallow even if it was in self defense, but there is always the option of defensive shots which take a lot of practice, it took me 3-4 years just to learn how to quick draw and hit 5 targets within 3 seconds. It is tough to say that someone could have stopped this guy if they did have a weapon, body armor/darkness/smoke/shooter skill etc, but it would have been better than nothing though. Also 99% of the time if there are witnesses, you won't be seen as an accomplice.

You want to know who the sick people are in this whole mess?

Let's start with obama, using this event to gain support for his reelection campaign.... sick..NO?

Liberals using this to gain support for anti gun laws

CNN saying this guy was part of the tea party..

    pathetic at most

How is liberals using it to gain support sick? Time after time Americans have proven that we are not capable of the right to bear arms.

Sorry, to say I'm not a liberal but I am definitely against guns

    Mainstream media= Mass Brainwashing <

Obama... no real words for this except "Huge mistake"

Study propaganda before you say he didn't use it towards his reelection campaign.. it is pretty obvious

Also let's get rid of all the things that cause death in america, because guess what? guns is not on top

Alot of gun violence is related to Gang violence and a lot of gang violence uses illegal weapons, getting rid of weapons won't solve anything, but only worsen the situation, like i said before prohibition does not work... it will only make the law abiding citizens defenseless and the criminals armed. They are going to get their weapons regardless, it will only increase the black market..

  • Sir, I didn't say he didn't use it for his re-election, I simply said he's a huge mistake to america.

I would agree with you about your gun statement, but I don't agree with it. Sure alot of gun violence stems from gangs. So, really..Where is the root of the problem? Our judicial system. They make a law that you need a license to carry a weapon right? well anyone can walk into any pawn shop and pass the test and get a weapon.

I personally think, that giving every american the right to bear arms is ignorant. Because not everyone should have that right. It's not just gang members that go and shoot random people, look at the amount of kids that are able to get a fake ID, walk into a pawn shop and buy a gun. Our laws need to be more strict. Why would the average american need a automatic rifle? or 100 round mag? or Materials for bomb making? There's absolutely no reason. A glock? Sure, A sniper? Sure people still live off their lands here and need them for hunting though i'd prefer to use a bow and arrow..

And I believe fully that our gun law should match with switzerland's.

Many americans do not own automatic rifles, these require to be in UNIFORM (law enforcement, military) or CLASS III license which is difficult to get and an extensive background check, takes about a year, and another year to get the gun + high cost deters most of the average american.

Like i said, most weapons used in gang violence are guns that are bought through the black market, meaning illegally, meaning no background check, nothing, just cash. NO gun law will affect this market, but only help increase it...

Also magazines are pretty easy to make, so any law dealing with that would be pointless...and any magazine prior to the law being passed could not be taken away and there would be still "high cap" magz on the market..

and as far as bomb making goes, you can make a bomb using orange juice.......LOL.. or many basic products found at a grocery store...

the root of the problem is gang violence that is tied to drugs, prostitution, etc not to gun laws..

do the swiss have all these gangs? no, it is unrealistic to make any comparison.
  • Alright guys calm down.

    Here's my opinion:

As much as you guys are yelling at Obama about gun restrictions and what not, I haven't seen anything from the guy doing anything about militarism or gun control. If anything he is embracing it. The guy does more covert operations and increased the budget for that portion of the Pentagon more than the last president and thats saying alot considering hes a democrat. I know Fox noise has been screaming about the fear that Obama will touch gun laws but the reality is that it won't go. His whole legacy is based on Healthcare and he isn't going to fck that up by trying to touch guns. You guys are way to paranoid and need to think on a more manipulative scale. The United States of Amnesia is easily distracted by hot topic words like "firearm restrictions" and so presidents won't touch them. Same thing goes with Medicare, Medicaid, etc.

As far as gun control I think there should be more restrictions but not on the guns itself. I think it should be restricted to certain groups of society. Police of course, and then educated individuals which are but not limited to: academia, gun trainers, hunters, historians/collectors, and rich individuals. Either that, or no guns at all except for the privledged. Sorry, but people don't deserve guns. Idc what you say about freedom and all this other crap. I don't want my stupid neighbor who doesn't read current times and is ignorant to be wielding a weapon that could put me in danger.

And yeah, getting guns and firing them is fun as hell. But I don't think my fun is worth somone's innocent life. Especially because I opened up the gate to some dumbass. By this I mean strictly guns that are meant to be for fun (aka your full auto, or your high tech no recoil shotguns and what not.) These guns aren't used for hunting, and are completly inpractical for trap shooting. Lets face it, these guns can't be for the general public and should strictly be limited to certain groups of people.

Also I don't think poor people deserve fire arms. Why would they need it? They have no money to protect, and guns cost cash anyway (they can spend their money on more useful items). Hopefully this changes in the future.
