Please remember that ribbons are web-based prizes.

It does not take any game server processing power to deliver a tiny graphic to your Clan Page profile. However there are thousands of people that the game has to deliver 2 items to your inventory to.

It's likely just the delay between these two that is causing the problem.

Giving items out happens in batches. Because we're dealing with Live databases we can't just give it all out at once because that might affect the actual performance. It's done in batches so that doesn't happen.
