The game warface is also free and has graphics battlefiled! It would please me if Z8Games game with the new partner rage finally bring out the expected number of graphics-patch ... sas example is yes otherwise TOP;) PM: look a gameplay from warface on youtube...

Smilegate has licenses Epic’s Unreal Engine technology for a up-coming FPS project which could be used to improve Crossfire graphics.
However, at this time, there is no information on upgrading the graphic of Crossfire. Just wait for future patches and see what you get.

With graphics like this on the F2P game you mentioned. Its hard to see people not migrate if they do not update the graphics on CF. -

No it isn't. -__-
There has been 0 changes to the ENGINE since the game was released except for security additions and module additions (new gamemodes and such).
Sudden Attack 2 is what would be called a 2.0 game...it looks ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like it's older version and is based on a totally new engine. Even it's gameplay looked different.
Sadly, they canceled the release because Nexon sucked up their companies and distributed the teams onto other projects... -

Yes Sebbern is right. We are playing in Crossfire 2.0. Back in 2007, Crossfire looked a lot like counter strike until they changed the graphics. I will post some images if I can find any.
So the next one is likely to be Crossfire 3.0. -

I thought this version of crossfire startet in 2009? Or do u mean the asian versions? -
I like the graphic it's like a video game should look like, unreal
Not like CoD MW2, it seems so realistic and this takes the fun away.
I grew up with this engine and before 2008 nearly all games were like this.
But then UT3 came out and the realistic game graphics were unstoppable.
Also these games are so easy to play - like MW2
This game needs at least a little bit skill to play
But how we see in CS - they put all old textures in a program and it makes it looks like what we call "HD". They did this because of the players who like those new graphics and maybe we will see this in CF too.

THIS^^^ I play on a P.O.S. (not reall,y i guess is hould be grateful to have it) $300 laptop. i get around 100 FPS so im good. but other games arent so good. like AVA< cannot play it. -
And that's the DAMN POINT. The Engine they are working in is OUTDATED...it's an 2006 Engine in the year 2012...as I've said before, there are Engines MORE MODERN that run BETTER and on OLDER MACHINES that CF 2 would/could be placed in...SamuraiMoMo wrote: »I think the are already to there limit graphic wise with what the can do with the engine that cf runs
Different engine = new game = no crossfire = you will notice it in the gameplay.
AND.
Different Engine is NOT = new game. It may LOOK like a new game, but they can get it PRETTY DANG CLOSE to how the GAMEPLAY was in the LAST version. Look at PB (if you can)...it's JUST like CF except for the map design (which is WAY better). Same smooth gameplay, just different Gfx and newer weapons. -
Let's clear something the reason people play here ain't for the graphics, when you think about it ghost recon online has the lastest engine of ubisoft studio to develop a f2p game HEHHH and I got access to it, so why do I still play this game ? O.O it's simple because of the gameplay, crossfire has a unique gameplay that remember cs1.6 with some extra noobish and proish things.

haha played PB lol the gameplay is horrible comparing it to cf is a insult to cf xD
New engine is always a different gameplay
You can try to mimic the gameplay but there always will be a different and you will notice. -
Want better Graphics? Grab a real game.

As stated above this game has a unique feeling to it. Hence why I dropped many other FPS games back in the day and started playing this game. Run and Gun.
But ya if you want graphics that look better. Find a different game.

Also they said that the project that they are doing will be a improvement of Crossfire.
