Reporting Hacker Friend
Hi,
quick explanation:
3 days ago my friend was obviously aimbotting, I told him to stop hacking he said he didn't hack, but it was obvious he even lost his honorable the week before because he used hacks... he had a bust video on youtube, and I told him to give me 10k ZP or I would report him xD
but he didn't hear me so I toke a SS of the webform and sent him, he kept hacking, 3 days after (today) I went to TeamSpeak,
what happened to his account where he spent 300€+ and was silver bar... he was permanently banned.
Final question:
Do you think I made the right choice or I'm a horrible person?
EDIT:: I thought everyone would understand that the part of asking for ZP was just a sarcasm, who would give ZP when they could still get banned? Secondly, he isn't my real life friend, I just knew him online two weeks ago and I call him friend because he's from my clan so yeah, it was my mistake, should've typed colleague or mate idk, maybe friend doesn't sound right. I had real life friends but I didn't report them, I wouldn't be capable of such thing but I respect who would.

Well, that friend will be ****ed off. I guess you could have tried a bit more or even threatened him. Tell him that you will report him unless he stopped - the best way.
Right choice, but a threaten would be better.
I threatened him for over an hour on TeamSpeak, even asked for ZP so I wouldn't report! xD
He didn't believe, still think he doesn't even with proofs that I was the one reporting him.
He's sending a support ticket saying that his account got hacked and someone else used cheats on it. EPIC. -
you blackmailed him "give me zp or i will report you". then you are not a good friend. and you reported him for not giving you zp. that means you dont care about banning the cheaters, you just think of your benefit. so that shows you didnt make good choise, you are horrible, actually more than horrible.

if i were you i would find some outside way to contact him and tell him that you reported him... just becasue he was to stubborn to listen to you -
You are a bad person . Reported a friend ? Its just a game dude , stop taking it too seriously. I wouldnt end a friendship for a stupid game . You are most likely 13-14 years old cause thats a childish reaction , you ll grow up eventually .
And yeah most people here will tell you that you did the right thing cause they only care about the game .You made this thread cause you already knew that you would get these answers to make you feel better.
Ask your parents or some real people out there and you ll get your answer . -

I wouldn't report a real friend of mine tbh. But I definitely would have told him to stop.
